It's now the 1 month anniversary of my painting project, and I really love it! I got some new materials and have been expanding my techniques, making progress and having a lot of fun.
So for Week 53 of the Creatvity Challenge, here's my second installment of artworks.
Here's painting #8, "Power Plant Beach Sunset", with chalk pastel.
Here's painting #9, my first using oil pastels (all before were chalk pastels, "Road to Crestone".
Painting #10, my first on larger size 12"x16", "Orcas Ferry Sunset", with oil pastels.
Painting #11, "Longs Peak and Estes Cone", pictures the MacCluer family mountain, Longs Peak. My grandfather had a cabin nearby as a child.
Painting #12, "Abstract Seascape" is my first abstract painting and also my first to combine watercolors and oil pastels.
Painting #13, "Flowers and Mountains" pictures some of the many beautiful wildflowers in Colorado.
And Painting #14, another abstract painting entitled "Chakras, Blockages, Wounds".
