Joshua MacCluer’s accomplished international performance career has seen this dynamic American musical artist performing with many of the world’s finest artists on the greatest stages of the world. As a highly accomplished orchestral musician, Joshua enjoyed a 21 year orchestra career with some of the world’s finest orchestra, culminating with six years as Principal Trumpet of the internationally acclaimed Hong Kong Philharmonic, with whom he played in the best concert halls in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia and recorded Wagner's mammoth Ring for Naxos records. This breadth od musical skills allows Josh to transcend traditional genre description and bring a freshness, originality and music to all music where he is featured.

Challenging the Mainstream for the Greater Good
Josh believes that mainstream thinking in music, education, health, finance, government, values and the nature of existence must be upgraded in order for humanity to survive and prosper in this world of increasing complexity and interconnectedness. The outdated values of zero-sum competition, the personality ethic and resource destruction must give way in order for us to survive. He seeks to collaborate with others in finding new paradigms for living, thinking and relationships. A primary goal of this blog is to serve as an invitation for like minded individuals to join with him as mentors, collaborators and students to work together for the future of the humanity and planet.
